Stained Glass: Cherry Blossoms [Early Spring]by *Mysticalpchan

This is the stained glass piece of cherry blossoms I promised. I just couldn't wait for spring any longer. (My idea being I wanted to see this with the green leaves in the tree behind it).

Anyway the top picture is of the 2 halves together on top of a light box (which is why the lighting is weird).

This was the final project for my stained glass class. There are 198 pieces of glass in all. The panels are both 3 ft in length and about 1 ft in width.

Wow, if the first one took 2 months, how much time did these ones take?
I love the textures, and the top of that right panel makes me feel bubbly with the shapes >w<
I also like how the lines seem to flow to the right of the tree like wind~

Will you take the pictures again when the leaves are green? :'D

Love how you cut the glass with the grain to make it really look like wood and flower petals. Very nice!

We cut the flowers randomly so that they'd be organic like that, but the tree pieces were cut deliberately so we'd get the grains all matched up. C:
